1. Scope
1.1
This Standard defines the requirements for periodic inspection of pressure-retaining components and their supports that form part of a CANDU nuclear power plant.
1.2
This Standard deals with failure aspects, classification of areas subject to inspection, responsibilities, provision for access, inspection techniques and procedures, personnel qualifications, frequency of inspection, documentation, records, evaluation of inspection results, disposition, and repair requirements.
1.3
